World Press 2008 Toronto, ON

As I'm sure you will soon figure out, the posts are not in any particular order. I have been slow at uploading photos and giving life to this Blog. A bad parent to my child, if you will. But I'm taking parenting classes so we will see how it goes.

These particular photos are from a class trip to the World Press

photo exhibit in Toronto, ON. This is what the trip entailed:
taking a bus to and from Toronto, time to view the exhibit, time to shoot downtown, time  for Robyn (my beautiful girlfriend) to go shopping (which was strictly prohibited!!!), time  to blow off what we thought would be a boring lecture to grab a pitcher of beer with Robyn  and Josh and take some night pictures, and sneaking into what we thought would be the  middle of Don Weber's lecture an hour and a half late but really getting there before it had  started (thanks PC, we can always rely on you to be unreliable!), and finally being amazed  at Don Weber's work in Russia (you can see his work at www.donweber.com/wp/)

I'm not going to insert any witty commentary, or personal stories about photography as of yet, but you can bet I will in later posts.

  2. Yeah, it's a photo of a photo. Apparently you are allowed to do that. It's actually a photo by Francessco Zizola taken in Columbia.
